Welcome to Delorme Mapping in Freeport, Maine.

Eartha is a 3-dimensional scale model of our earth with mountains and landforms in full 3D, that rotates and revolves, simulating the earth’s real movements. Eartha was given the title of “World’s Largest Revolving/Rotating Globe” by the editors of the Guinness Book of World Records in 1999, and still holds that record today. It measures 41.5 ft in diameter. Unveiled July 23, 1998 Eartha took two years to build and represents earth as it is seen from space. The photographer Michael Kintner owner of AmazingAerialPhotos.com uses a variety if high tech technology to shoot a series of over 298 photos to create the building tour of Delorma Mapping in Freeport, Maine along with alot of patience with Adobe Photoshop to create and amazing panoramic view of this high amazing marvel of a company.  Mr. Kintner had worked in Maine from 1985 through to 1993 and frequents Maine on numerious occasions to visit friends and colleagues.  “Its an amazing state, with great people an awesome sites to see”, says Mr. Kintner.   And if all goes well, he hopes to return to Maine soon.
